As a mechanical engineer specializing in robotics and haptics, Cosima brings deep expertise in soft robotics, wearable device development, and advanced textile characterization. Her research background includes developing modeling tools for soft growing robots and creating next-generation haptic devices for virtual and augmented reality applications.
Cosima has collaborated extensively with both academic and industrial partners, contributing to projects ranging from soft pneumatic seat systems for automotive manufacturers to textile-based wearable technologies. With specializations in 3D modeling and technical presentation, she has consistently bridged the gap between theoretical research and practical application, advancing the field of mechanical engineering at the intersection of soft robotics and emerging technology.
